'ello all! Just got this email, it slipped past my spam filters. It looks like spam, but doesn't, if you know what I mean, not the mismatch between domain name and email address at the bottom. The hyperlinks are pointing to the same as the text. What do you reckon? Dave
Best way is to check the email headers but another way is just to do a search on google for the title, email address or some content. The Blackboard » Internet Keyword Scam
Quite a few of our clients have a similar email, and so have we. I've ignored them, and I've instructed our clients to ignore them. The question to ask yourself, do I want to do business in China, or Asia? If yes then a domain name could be good (but not from a cold call), if no then it's not worth the text its written from
Thanks, pretty much as I suspected. Surely if there was anything binding they would have to send more than an email. Do I want to do business in China? My Mandarin sucks, but if someone had a virus there I would go if they paid my travel. Consigned to spam. Cheers
Aha, did you get one of those lovely "We can renew all your domains for you" letters from some company you've never heard of?! I usually get 1 or 2 a month of those...fun times! One day I'm going to reply, just to see what they actually do!
That's right, just found a copy of one they sent recently - the "Domain Renewal Group" ONE .com domain would cost me....£25.00!!?!?!??!? erm...thanks anyway!
