| Send mass email
Hi, I'm trying to find the best way I can send out mailouts from one of my domains. I know this can be done through mailing lists on cPanel [I think] but I also have a prospective client who wants IIS hosting, most of my clients use outlook, what's the best way to send an HTML email to 500+ people without blood haemmoraging from my ears? Or is it just me making a fuss, does everyone alse BCC? ![]() Thanks! ps. I will of course only be mailing people who have agreed to be on a mailing list! |

You should look into email marketing. I can offer you an email broadcasting service, although for such a small list there are probably cheaper/alternative options. However, if you did want to manage your mailings professionally then I can offer you a pay per email sending scheme which costs around £5 per campaign plus 2/3p per email sent - so around £15/20 for your list. I can also build you custom HTML templates which display correctly in all major browsers and they start from around £150 a template. I have a lot of experience in email marketing and produce email campaigns for companies such as MTV and Goodprint on a monthly basis. If you or anyone else is interested in this service then please PM me. Cheers |

Email marketing tends not be very effective though. Unless solicited its generally considered spam - if not morally a problem then certainly a problem as it tends to get screened out by any self respecting spam filter

Tom your right unless you know enough about optimizing the back end setup, the email itself and the content displayed. If you do then the email will generally get white flagged straight though to the customers inbox. One of our clients makes 15x in revenue what he pays to send the campaign - now I see that as being very effective.
