Has anyone used OpenDNS??

Found info on it here:

OpenDNS – What is OpenDNS and Why You Absolutely Need It ?

I think its quite handy that you can block websites etc

Whats peoples thoughts?

Just looking into it, still honestly can see any RL advantages to me but might give it a go just so I can say I have.

Hmm, looks interesting, though I'd probably end up turning it on and off each time I make a DNS change as I'd become paranoid that any problems were on my side!

Great way of blocking sites if you run a business and don't want staff wasting time

I use OpenDNS.com
The one I love about opendns.com is they have some kind of "bad sites" warning...... It mean if I visit "bad website", they will give warning......

Ah right I was just wondering with the next package up if you can customise the error pages fully (hide all traces of opendns logos)

I've been using it for years, I set in in my cable modem because virgin's DNS is shite.

You can cusommise your error page too and scare the hell out the kids :-)

I use it too. Only annoying thing is typing something in the address bar brings up a search page, rather than jumping to the most relevant webpage.
