Linux Users

Just wondered if theres any Linux users out there, i've only just dipped my toe in the water as fancied trying something new on my old Asus A4 laptop Athlon 64

So far i've tried Mint which after having a good read is meant to be the best bet for a noob like me and have used for a few days and liked a lot as comes per-installed with many apps and codecs

But off to install ubuntu and give it ago

Ubuntu is supposed to rock, I've tried to get along with Linux but we don't seem compatable. I just get pissed off when when I can't get a printer or something working. I guess if they did a car engine like Linux you would be under the car everytime you wanted to change channel on the radio :-)
