I was looking to add a dedicated IP to the shared hosting account I have with vidahost but I cannot find on the main site where the info is and how much it was, also could find any info in the client area either. Also in about a months time I might need some help deploying a SSL cert if thats available? (my boss is thinking about going ecommerse )

I know Vidahost offer a Dedicated IP and also SSL. Best bet is to email support@vidahost.com

Don't think you can beat SagePay at the moment: Sage Pay is the UK and Ireland's leading independent payment service provider - simple online payment systems for businesses of all sizes I think Vidahost also use sagepay

Yep, my incessant bugging of Seb and Dom agrees with that, SagePay is very much the cat's miaow at the moment! The trickier part is finding a good Merchant account to go with it...

Thank you for the help guys. The website in question is www.alecs3piecesuites.co.uk (working on new site) (if your up north and want a new sofa or suite come see us) Not looking forward to going ecommerce though mainly due to the logistical issues. which I know I have to deal with. But im always ready for a challenge! I suppose thats what I get paid for though.

Sorry, I didn't realise you were needing anything - fire an email to support@vidahost.com and we'll always get back to you We include dedicated IPs free with any hosting account which needs an SSL certificate, either for a £10 +VAT installation charge (with a certificate you provide) or £29/year +VAT for an SSL ordered through us. Hope that helps!
