Very hit and miss!
In the UK private IPs will seldom if ever log to a location. Even if the user has a static IP.

Most of the larger ISPs use dynamic IP pools which means that you can get allocated a different IP address each time you log on.

BTr customers are allocated dynamic IPs which means that IP could belong to several different people in the same day.
With BTr, you may fall lucky and get a regional IP depending on the BT RAS location ... but thats about it.

With many ISPs you will find that the IP resolves to either ISP location.. or the ISPs PoP/RAS - not the actual user.

Even though Im on a static IP and have been for many many years, not once has any of the Geo Location sites ever got anywhere near where my connection actually comes from.
iirc the nearest has probably been about 50miles away.. but mostly its a few hundred miles out.
The nearest probably was actually when I was testing something for an ISP, using a BTCentral plus login.. and it picked up the locatation of the BT RAS I was connected via.

To show how wrong all of the above sites are.. same static IP..
2 of them are giving out my ISPs location
The other is taking a stab at (and isnt too far wrong) from my ISP's regional server.

If you have a problem with that IP.. then you should report it to the ISP concerned - in this case abuse@btbroadband.com
making sure that you state the exact date and time, so they can track back to the correct person.
